Happiness?

"- My medical practitioner has insisted that I should come to visit you - said a patient to a psychiatrist -. God knows why. I am happily married, I have lots of friends, I have no worries... - I see - replied the psychiatrist while handling his notebook - And how long have you been that way? -. " ------------ Do you think that happiness is possible, only to different degrees, or is it only is an illusion, something we fake?. I heard once that human beings have not only happiness as one decisive duty but as a longlife obligation...It may be that we are becoming a little bit irresponsible on this matter then.
