I like marketing as I like art, the better the best indeed, same as with everything else, one of the main reasons because I enjoy it is that it makes us people dream, it's estimulating to our capacity for imagining and, after all, the fuel to putting any project or plan into action are dreams.
There is no other more powerful energy to make things happen than imagination, money can definitively act as a powerful motivational source for movilizing those energies -and viceversa, depending on what's the object that drives the individual- but imagination is at the top of the ranking. These days objetivity is the standard, the rule and the law, but there is not such thing as solely that and I neither would like it to be that way. To me -or at least I simple choose to think that way - the inner world and potentials inside the person is what counts the most in life -and after BTW, for those believers-.
There may be such thing as impassibility rather than objetivity, however I neither consider it too healthy as an option, in the long term it rathers kills people. I've heard theories such as that in general terms positive people is less objetive and less accurate in details than the negative ones, wich sounds plain stupid, for instance: positive folks/positive mindsets promote good grove in the ambient, are happier -and make other's happier even when others can't realise it in a given moment-, are healthier, more productive, live longer and richer lifes, achieve much more and overcome obstacles quicker and better by deducting effectively the attached lessons, etc, etc, these are only a few reasons cause the list could be endless.
Negativity simply doesn't work, let's not kid us, unless one is working for the burial services the facts are that negativity is not a good deal at all. Most companies and CEO's should count on that when estimatings benefits and returns, when recruiting and of course, when managing every day, specially in those ocassions when they intent to have a significant impact rather than acting around as children in need an instead becoming a pain in the ass. Wouldn't it be better then that they'd stay away dreaming -and lettting dream -? They'd do a better service alltogether and maybe would alliviate some hysteria in their companies.
I enjoy the daily news for instance because of the conventional -as in social conventions- part of them but let's face it, they've never been too fair in the selections that they broadcast from the vast among of news availables, I know some of the TV presenters are awsome but that's not the ticket. I gather that news are great for projecting and canalizing into the conciousness the negativity one could have accumulated, however that's all the positive impact they have in our capacity for developing wonderful dreams -and lifes-, instead we already know that news tend to train our minds into uniformity, which implies a very small degree of creativity on itself. They also create useless fears, wich ultimate consecuence is blocking imagination as well. But one chooses and it's never black or white indeed, it's rather managing with a fair degree of compromise.
That's all for now on this roasting afternoon of my very loved Spanish summer. |
