Essencial lines
![]() It's Autumn and it's time for renewal and new fashion collections. One of the most acclaimed drawers from Spain, Arturo Elena, who is periodically collaborating with exclusive magazines on style and beauty, like Vogue or Cosmopolitan and has worked with brands like Chanel or Victorio & Luchino among others, is going to be exhibiting in a museum from the end of October and these are fabulous news. It will be in the Museum of Clothing that was opened recently in Madrid, place that I like a lot I should say. I especially enjoy Elena's drawings with that tall and skinny figures that are full of expression, electricity and color, even his black and white creations, I find it also to link to El Greco's legacy on the Spanish painters tradition. Sketches, as drawings, are humble relatives of painting, like fashion is to Art, they can result quite moving, quick, direct and targeted, as many beginnings are. Performing the beginnings is the harder part on any adventure but also equals to more than half the way in the complexion of any project, they lead and inspire with the enthusiasm and most of the passion to the promised lands of Fine Arts. I recommend very much Arturo Elena's exhibit to anyone interested on these type of humble leaders of the artysphere. Think you'll simply love it. |
